After obtaining a $1,610,000 jury verdict for our client, the lawyers for the Defendant’s insurance company filed various post trial motions to remove and vacate the jury’s verdict. We were successful in beating the Defendant’s Motions to set aside the verdict. In addition, we were also able to have the Defendant’s insurance company pay a portion of our attorney fees and costs as a penalty for not settling the lawsuit when they could have done so. As a result, we were able to add to the jury verdict for a total amount paid to the client of $1,721,314.63.
